1. The Central Govt. on 14 Jul (Wednesday) approved an increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR)  to central govt employees & pensioners from 17% to 28%. The hike will be applicable with effect  from 01 July 2021. 48.34 lakh central govt employees & 65.26 lakh pensioners will be benefited.  The DA & DR  were due from 01 Jan, 01 Jul 2020,  &  01 Jan 2021. *No arrears for the period from 01.01.2020 till 30.06.2021 shall be paid.* 

2. Cabinet approves continuation of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) for Development of Infrastructure Facilities for Judiciary for further five years at total cost of Rs.9000 crore. 

3. Centrally Sponsored Schemes are schemes that are implemented by state governments of India but are largely funded by the Central Government with a defined State Government share. Some examples of such schemes are Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and  also includes National AYUSH Mission as a Centrally-sponsored Scheme from 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2026.

4. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on 14 Jul (Wednesday) restricted Mastercard from adding new customers to its network for not adhering to its norms on storage of payment system data.

As per directions, Mastercard cannot issue new debit, credit or prepaid cards to domestic customers from 22 July. 

5. PM Modi will visit Varanasi today (i.e. on 15th July, 2021). He will inaugurate & lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects during the visit.

6. Projects worth Rs. 744 crores include 100 bed Maternal and Child Health Wing (MCH) wing in BHU, multi-level parking at Godauliya, Ro-Ro Vessels for tourism development on River Ganga & three lane flyover bridge on the Varanasi Ghazipur Highway.

1. External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar has called for earnest that peace negotiations in order to resolve the Afghan crisis. Presenting the Indian view at the SCO Contact Group Meeting on Afghanistan at Dushanbe. He added that all want ceasing of violence and terrorist attacks against civilians and state representatives.

2. External Affairs Minister  Jaishankar addressed inaugural session of 16th CII-EXIM Bank Conclave on India & Africa Project Partnership. He said that there are Four domains that should become the focus of our collaborative activities. They are (a) -Public Health, (b) digital delivery, (c) Skilling and capacity building and (d) Green economy.

1. The death toll in South Africa has risen to 72 as violence continues across the country following the jailing of former President Jacob Zuma. Mobs looting & setting alight shopping centres. 10 people were killed in a stampede during looting at a shopping centre in Soweto. More than 200 shopping malls had been looted.

2. President Cyril Ramaphosa has called it as some of the worst violent incidents witnessed in South Africa since the 1990s.

2. India will be sending a 228-strong contingent to the Tokyo Olympics, including 119 athletes, Indian Olympic Association president Narinder Batra said on 13 Jul (Tuesday). Out of the 119 athletes, 67 are male and 52 female participants.

3.  💐 *Happy Birthday to Sports Star* :. Sardar Singh (born 15 July 1986) is an Indian professional field hockey player and former captain of the Indian national team.

He became the youngest player to captain the Indian team when he led the side at the 2008 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup.

He was awarded Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award of India, in 2015.  On 12 September 2018, Sardara announced his retirement from international hockey.

4. Karnataka Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa felicitated Tokyo Olympics-bound athletes in Bengaluru in 14 Jul. Tokyo Olympics qualified Swimmer Srihari Natraj, Golfer Aditi Ashok & Equestrian player Fouaad Mirza were paid a purse of 10 lakh rupees each on this occasion. The CM also announced a prize money of 5 cr rupees for the Olympians winning Gold, 3 cr rupees for Silver and 2 cr rupees for winning a bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics.

5. Sports Minister Anurag Thakur appeals to people to encourage Indian players going to Tokyo Olympics. The Youth Affairs & Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur on 14 Jul launched the official team India cheer song for Tokyo Olympics contingent. The Minister thanked Rahman and Ananya for composing the song.

6. Tokyo Olympics Badminton schedule: 

World champion P V Sindhu will open her Tokyo Olympics campaign against Israel’s Polikarpova Ksenia on July 25.

In men's singles, B Sai Praneeth will face Israel’s Misha Zilberman in his opening Group D match on the first day of competitions on July 24.

The world no. 10 men's doubles pairing of Satwiksairaj Ranki Reddy and Chirag Shetty will take on Chinese Taipei duo of Lee Yang and Wng Chi-Lin in their opening Group A match.

The mind🧠 disconnects itself from the sense organ when we are in deep sleep.😪  Our mind as well as your brain are not active. Bcz our conscious mind is asleep and our subconscious is always wide awake. So whatever noises happens during our conscious is “asleep” our subconscious will pick it up and we might remember the noise or sound we heard when we were sleep. if we heard it again while we're awake it will trigger you subconscious mind .

When we are in deep sleep. If somebody is yelling at us calling by names. We don't show any reaction. The mind is not there to interpret our ego- our personality is not there. When we come back to waking state, our mind and body begins to appear in our consciousness.

But again here a question arises; When you are not able to hear anything during sleep, how does our brain wake up when hearing the alarm sound?

when we are awake there is a link between the auditory centre of the brain and the higher centres of our brain that process and understand this auditory information and then respond to it. When we go to sleep, this becomes delinked. 

 A really loud sound, however, will provide enough voltage and links and will wake us up. Other sounds that have very strong associations in our memory, e.g. our ringtone, alarm tone or a doorbell, may also provide enough voltage in the circuit even if they're a bit quieter.

 Brigadier Mohammad Usman Masoodi, MVC (15 July 1912 – 3 July 1948) (also known as Usman Mohammad Masoodi) was the highest ranking officer of the Indian Army killed in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947. At the time of the partition of India he with many other Muslim officers declined to move to the Pakistan Army and continued to serve with the Indian Army. He was killed in July 1948 while fighting Pakistani soldiers and militia in Jammu and Kashmir. He was later awarded the second highest military decoration for gallantry in the face of enemy, the Maha Vir Chakra.

So....During the time of Samudra Madan(Ocean Churning) for Amrit. Initially Poison (KALAKUTA Vish) was ejected. The Devas prayed to Shiva and hoped that he would come to their rescue for the poison was the most effective fiery substance, which no one except Shiva could swallow.

Lord Shiva held this poison in his throat and saved the mankind. The poison was so powerful that it turned lord Shiva’s throat in to blue color. From then he was also known as Neela kanta. 

Coming back to Lord Shiva blue throat. The poison in the throat is always a burning sensation for lord Shiva. Lord Shiva loves to spend time in meditation (Dhyanam). But this burning throat is not allowing him to do his meditation. Then he ordered Nandi to sit in front of him and blow some air on to his throat. The air blown on to his throat relieves him from the burning sensation. From then Onwards, Lord Shiva does his mediation with the help of Nandi.

It also said....When Lord shiv is in Dhyana Yoga...It is not possible to reach, so Nandi will receive the message that any one want to give.thats the reason still today we can see, people pass their message in the Nandi ears, which is in front of Lord Shiva.

 Effective Home Remedies For Rosacea On Face 

 Rosacea is a chronic skin disorder that is characterised by inflammation, redness of the skin and bumps. It affects the areas around your cheeks and nose and causes blemishes, swelling and discomfort

1. Take some aloe vera gel and apply it on the affected areas. If possible, try to scoop out fresh aloe vera gel from the leaf. Leave it on your skin for 15-20 minutes to dry and wash it off using cold water. Alternatively, you can also drink aloe vera water every day to flush out toxins from your system and begin the healing process of your skin.

2. Massage some honey on the affected area for 3-5 minutes. Let is sink into your skin and work its magic for another half an hour. Wash it off using lukewarm water and watch your skin getting better with each use.

3. Refrigerate a cucumber for about 45 minutes. Take it out and cut it into thin slices. Apply the cold cucumber slices on the affected areas. Leave it on for 10-15 minute before removing the slices and starting with another batch. Alternatively, you can also apply cucumber paste on the affected areas and wash it off after 10-15 minutes.

4. Add enough water to turmeric powder to get a smooth paste. Apply this paste on the affected areas and wash it off after 10-15 minutes.
